Musculoskeletal Conditions

Our therapists are experts in managing clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Our Occupational Therapists specialize in the rehabilitation of hand and upper limb injuries and our Physiotherapists focus on treating lower limb injuries as well as neck and back pain.

We accept referrals for:

A. HAND & UPPER LIMB conditions

  • Fractures
  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Cumulative trauma disorders (e.g. Carpal tunnel syndrome, DeQuervain's tenosynovitis)
  • Arthritis
  • Pain and hypersensitivity
  • Nerve injuries

Services and Programmes 

  • Management of pain, joint stiffness and muscle weakness using various equipment and electrical modalities
  • Prescription of exercises and relevant equipment
  • Fabrication of customized thermoplastic splints and/or provision of orthotics
  • Ergonomic advice
  • Work-conditioning programmes to facilitate earlier return to work

B. LOWER LIMB & NECK/BACK conditions

  • Fractures
  • Joint Replacements (e.g. hip/knee replacements)
  • Arthritis
  • Soft tissue injuries (e.g sporting injuries, whiplash) 
  • Disc herniation (i.e.'slipped' disc)
  • Spondylosis/degeneration (i.e. wear and tear of the spine)
  • Scoliosis / nerve compression (e.g. cervical radiopathy, sciatica)
